MINDAIC CERAMICS
Mindaic CERAMICS
Own a one of a kind piece of art!
Each artwork is meticulously handcrafted from scratch using both traditional and non-traditional techniques. Every piece, no matter how small, undergoes multiple stages of refinement. It begins with wedging the clay, followed by either throwing or slabbing to shape the base form. The next stage, the drying process can take anywhere from 24 hours to a week. Afterward, I refine and, in some cases, carve the piece. It then goes through its first firing in the kiln. Once cooled, I glaze the piece in preparation for its second firing, where it reaches temperatures of up to 1,900 degrees. The final step involves sanding and testing for temperature resistance and durability. Then the art is ready for you to enjoy!
All pieces are dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe unless otherwise noted.
